| Hey all...welcome to the new Modern Pin Up group. I created this group because I want it to become something that i've always wanted to see...a group that showcases modern pin up artists, which I do consider myself. Every time I look up "pin up" on Google or for anything else, I always get the classic version on pin up...the paintings of women from the 30s and 40s, which I do have a respect for, but not exactly what I am looking for. In my opinion, the last 30 years has brought a resurgence of pin up art, but of course, it has evolved with time. I think "pin up" now covers a wide range of subjects, all revolving around the artistic appreciation of women. From glamour, to risque, to hardcore, pin up artists can capture women in many different ways. I hope to attract not only pin up artists to this group, but anyone who appreciates the beauty of women. I will showcase work of my favorite artists, have a gallery for members pin up art, and show some of my own. Hope you like and let me know what you think... Enjoy! Adam Braun-founder |
